“What is your return policy?"
We want you to know that each and every purchase is
covered by our 30 day 100% money back guarantee. We want
you to be totally satisfied with your purchase and enjoy
displaying our artwork in your home or office. If this
is not the case just return the artwork to us within the
first 30 days of ownership and we will refund your
money, regardless of whether you made your purchase over
the Internet, over the phone or in person.
Additional
details: This warranty does not apply to pieces that
were altered, modified, reframed or rematted by someone
other than Reid or Therese Watts. Your piece must be in
like-new condition when we receive it. Shipping and
handling costs are not refundable. If you have purchased
multiple pieces from us and wish to return them for a
refund you need to ship your pieces back to us all at
the same time, preferably in a single package. Your
return needs to be insured and trackable. Each return
must be preceded by communication with us, either by
phone or email, notifying us that a return is coming.
Returns for which we have not been notified, and returns
that have not been approved by us, will be returned to
sender. Our policies are subject to change at any time
without notice.

“How can I be assured that my photograph will not fade?”
We only use top-of-the-line fade-resistant
acid-free materials from top suppliers.
Tests by suppliers and independent labs indicate
that our photographs should not fade for decades, even
centuries, when properly framed and matted and displayed
in normal indoor environments. None of the prints we
have produced to date using these suppliers has shown
any signs of fading whatsoever.
However, we realize that this is a concern among
some of our customers, so we are offering a 36 month
fade-free warranty on all of our matted and framed
works. If
you find that one of the matted or framed pictures you
purchased from us has faded within the first 36 months
of ownership, just return the artwork to us and we will
ship you a new piece right away. This warranty will be
honored whether you made your purchase over the
Internet, over the phone or in person.
Additional
details: Since inferior materials used for framing can
damage your artwork, this warranty does not apply to
pieces that were altered, modified, reframed or rematted
by someone other than Reid or Therese Watts. Your return
needs to be insured and traceable. Each return must be
preceded by communication with us, either by phone or
email, notifying us that a return is coming. Returns for
which we have not been notified, and returns that have
not been approved by us, will be returned to sender. Our
policies are subject to change at any time without
notice.

"Why
are your matted print envelopes so thick?"
We only use top quality archival material mat and mount
boards. We do not use inexpensive paper
mats. All of our mats are either 100% cotton rag
mat or Bainbridge Artcare Alphamats, and many of our rag
mat offerings are beautiful 8-ply thick mats which
help to add depth to the picture. The mount boards
are either 1/8" or 3/16" archival
foam. These products help protect your fine art
purchase for many decades.

"What
color mat will my online order ship with?"
All
online orders ship with matting in a shade of white.
We select a shade of white that best complements
each photo selection.
Our 4-ply matting has either a white or black
core. (The core color is the color of the bevel.)
At
our shows, some photographs are available with black
matting. If
you desire black matting, please call us about
availability.

"What
is the difference between the 8-ply and 4-ply matting
that you offer?"
All
of our mats are archival quality.
The matting material we use is the same type used
by museums and helps to protect the photograph.
All
of our 8-ply mats are 100% cotton, known in the trade as
rag mat. The
core of rag mat is always a solid uniform color.
You can tell an 8-ply mat by its thickness.
It is twice as deep as a 4-ply mat and gives the
photograph a shadowbox effect.
These are the best mats money can buy.
Our
4-ply mats are either alpha-cellulose (Alphamat) or rag
mat.
Our
alphamats typically have a white core, but we also use
some with black core.
The surface textures may differ between different
shades of white. The
color differences are subtle, but add character to each
picture.
Our
4-ply rag mat is a bright white.
(Call about availability of black.)

"Why
don't you offer frames for your 8x10 and 11x14 matted
show prints?"
As
a result of your requests, we now bring a limited number
of 8x10 and 11x14 frames to shows. If you see a
print and frame you like, we can easily change out the
photograph for you.
We
previously did not carry frames for 8x10 and 11x14 matted prints
since they are readily available in many craft, department, and discount
stores, and most customers who purchase these size
prints intend to frame the item themselves.
Self-framers should try to select a frame that can hold
our quality mats and mounts. A good minimum depth
is 3/8" to 7/16". The materials in our
matted show prints are top quality and will help protect
your purchase. You should use them when you frame
your picture. However, we mount the picture to the
mat in order to allow you to easily substitute a thinner mount
board should that prove necessary to fit into a
ready-made frame.

"Did
you take these pictures yourself?"
All pictures sold on this website or at any of the shows
attended by Watts Photographic Images, were taken by
either Reid or Therese Watts personally. Each
photograph we sell is personally signed by the
photographer who took it.

"How can I buy a print I saw at one of your
shows? It's not on your web-site."
If you saw it at a show but can't find it on the
web-site, please phone us and tell us the show location
and approximate show date. The print is likely to
be available.
At
shows, I often offer featured prints in more than one
type paper, so call to assure you receive the photograph
printed exactly as the one you viewed at a show.

"Do
you have a studio?"
No. The best way to see our works in person is at
a public show or exhibition. Once you see our work in
person, we're confident you'll feel no hesitation to buy
from our web gallery. The actual prints have a
much higher resolution and color gamut than what can be
represented on the web.
